philippians 4:8...and 9

SO I AM TRYING TO DO THIS...IT IS HARD BECAUSE I HATE A CERTAIN GUY RIGHT NOW AND I HAVE A HARD TIME NOT THINKING ABOUT THE THINGS HE HAS SAID TO ME IN THE PAST MONTH...BUT...

Verse 8
Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. (NASB)

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. (NIV)

And now, dear brothers and sisters, let me say one more thing as I close this letter. Fix your thoughts on what is true and honorable and right. Think about things that are pure and lovely and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. (NLV)

Summing it all up, friends, I'd say you'll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious--the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. (The Message)

Verse 9.
The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you. (NASB)
